Malone’s Sports and Print is a commercial screen printing business where we offer two of the most popular ways to customize your clothing, screen printing and embroidery. Though the end result is similar, screen printing and embroidery are different in terms of use, cost, and application. Whether you’re trying to promote your business, new brand or an innovative start up, screen printing and/or embroidery may be the right choice for you.
What is the difference between screen printing and embroidery?
Screen printing
Screen printing is a method of printing where a design is printed onto a surface with ink. A stencil is made of your design and placed onto a screen of mesh, often silk. Ink is pushed through the mesh onto the printing surface and this process is repeated for each color in the image. These combine to create a finished product. At Malone’s Sports and Print, we utilize our automatic screen printing machine to deliver the highest quality products to our customers.

Embroidery
Embroidery is the modern update of the classic needle and thread. Your design is digitized and turned into a program for an embroidery machine. This uses needles to automatically stitch the image onto fabric. At Malone’s Sports and Print, we utilize our Tajima machine for all of our embroidery services.
